Accountability Rally at all District 6 Offices

The Eastern Ohio Accountability Coalition (EOAC) held demonstrations, simultaneously, at all five of Congressman Wilson’s offices to protest the fact that he has failed to hold himself accountable to the people he was elected to represent. The Rallies began at 4:30 P.M. on Thursday July 29th and lasted about an hour to kick off the Congressional recess period.

The EOAC is alarmed over the direction Wilson’s campaign for the Ohio 6th District is going. Wilson’s campaign is in lock step with direction provided by the Administration and his party’s leadership as recently reported by the New York Times. Wilson has clearly “tried to avoid unscripted question and answer sessions…” with Teleconferences and he continues to “hold events in controlled settings… without the worry of being snared in an angry confrontation with seniors”.

EOAC is an organization established by several groups located throughout Ohio’s 6th Congressional District, including the Marietta OH 9-12 Project locally. The groups have coalesced around the principles of limited government, following the Constitution, free markets, fiscal responsibility and accountability.
